None of the crochet I’ve been doing lately involved working from a starting chain, and I forgot how annoying it is when

Spinning progress- while I can and have fit an entire braid on a spindle, I remembered that I really didn’t want to do that. So! Continuing on my wheel and I’ll make a chain ply ball later

Knitting 🧶 update!
Shawl progress! About an inch and a half of shawl in black yarn on the needles, sitting on the book the pattern is from, The Fellowship of the Knits, the lacy parts on the ends is hard to see with it scrunched up My unfinished April socks, in brownish green yarn, there’s a small cable detail up the side. The pattern is Earl Gray from the Yarn Harlot

Spinning Sunday! Working on the skittles fiber, and managed to get a decent amount done this week, I’m into the second turtle 🧶

Finally done, I’ve had a spindle sized piece of fluff for what feels like forever, but finally finished it off today
Handspun yarn singles on a top whorl gear spindle, there’s only a couple of ounces on the spindle but it takes forever when you don’t pick it up and actually work on it, turns out

Today has very much been a #weaving day. Put my SampleIt loom together, got it warped and started weaving. Worked with my band weaving kit this morning after getting the warp ready last night. The key to both is going to be figuring out a comfortable spot to do it, I think.
A small section of woven band in light blue and silver with a small stripe of dark blue. The heddle and shuttle are also visible along with the bright red stoorstalka band lock A rigid hettle loom about the same width of the couch it’s sitting on, warped with white boucle yarn, the weft is the same. There’s about four or five inches of weaving done (I was weaving at the table, not there)
