What's awesome is that it's actually Congress' job to remake the federal government and we have the other 2 branches just freestyling it instead. Nobody in Congress seems to care.
The only question is whether they will actually say the President has the authority to fire these officials (in contradiction to what the law says) or if they will invent some Calvinball rule that basically says only Republican Presidents have this authority and Dems don't.
