Another one. From “Marian Dammy,” who signs her email off with “Dammy.” And look at that “good fit“ for Fever House in the second pic. AI traaaash.

Yet another AI scam run by predatory shitbags. They're in Goodreads now, and the name of the sender doesn't even match the name at the end of the email. Fucking laziest dogshit imaginable.

Coffin Moon by @keithrosson.bsky.social is called the best modern vampire story ever by @stephenking.bsky.social I saw Joe Hill on his King Sorrow tour (which is a new favorite book), he had big praise for it too. They are not wrong. This book is a modern classic

SOLD OUT! You bought up all the signed copies of COFFIN MOON and Broadway Books had to order more! You can them order here, thank you!

(And you and I both know that blurb's incorrect, that 'SALEM'S LOT will always slay, but the man said what the man said.)

Only 150 pages in or so, but my god, Justin Cronin’s THE PASSAGE is just an unbelievably sad, sorrowful book. Wolgast, Amy, Anthony Carter, all of them.

Hey folks, just a reminder that you can still get signed/personalized copies of any of my books, including COFFIN MOON, from Broadway Books in Portland, OR! Thanks so much!

Keith! Read this on my social media break and loved it! It was gory and scary but there was also a sense of grief and loss that was the background for me and I also found it very sad. I even had a bit of pity for John Varley.

Don't know the full story of Todd Snider's death, but sounds like some healthcare fuckery might have had something to do with it. There's no denying songs like "Ballad of the Kingsmen" and "Live Forever" absolutely rule. RIP to a lifer.

For a number of years, I went with zero anthology/publication invites, and was fine with it. Wrote books, submitted stories, got rejected, accepted. Did the thing.

Anyway, world has seen fit to invite me to six anthologies/pubs in 2026, and I'm gonna give every one of em a killer story. Stoked.

I’ve had hangovers in my twenties EXACTLY like this.
Joke of the day from Moscow: Russia tried to unveil its first humanoid AI robot, Aidol. Key word: tried. The robot collapsed during its debut, forcing organizers to cut the presentation short. Their rushed attempt to lift the prop only made things worse.

Hey, happy to announce that COFFIN MOON made the opening round ballot for the Goodreads Choice Awards! Somehow it makes me reading all my one-star reviews worth it. Of you're down, I'd love it if you voted for your favorite horror novel of the year! Thanks much.

I'm enjoying the latest @keithrosson.bsky.social novel COFFIN MOON! Read a chunk yesterday tabling at the comic swap between crowds, and had to read an even bigger chunk today! Lots of cool Portland stuff. Lost Boys movie was a very good pairing for the release event at Hollywood Theatre.
