When I read the full transcript of the interview, I realized there had been no pushback, no corrections, no challenging follow-ups. The entire interview had been an open-ended opportunity for Trump to tell rambling lies, only to have them cleaned up into a more polished product.

OK Striker, let's just pray you don't screw up like you did over Macho Grande.

We don’t know much about the next DC Universe movie, Supergirl, but one of its actors has discussed in vague terms what it’s aiming to achieve, and teased that it will clarify the House of El business this year’s Superman set up.

One thing that's great about AI is that I immediately know which people are not worth my time.
I really dug Ep 2. I think I struggle with stuff like this because the novel is so narratively tight but it's like, OK, so you're a prequel to the movie! OK, wow me. Definitely starting to happen.

All I have to do is accept the premise and live w/it.

The kids are great.
@kentonantiques.bsky.social is doing amazing things setting up a shelf-pantry in a shop, I was going on errands & texted if she needs anything and she was immediately like Can you take a bag of groceries to someone? So I did & got the feeling of handing stuff over to someone who needs it. Win win.
I feel the same way 4 retail - Like, I can make some money. But having a j-o-b job during the week keeps the lights on, buys me time. It's too bad but generally OK, welcome to 2025. Still getting good comics to people who want them. (Zac knows I know his stuff & he's the best! Some fine comics.)
The moment I realized things were going well in my freelance career - I immediately went out and got a job. Because maintaining that state was paramount. Depending on your art to pay your bills takes a toll on your art. And it makes your easier to exploit.

For me - a job brings balance, perspective
When people hear that I'm returning to part time work they often ask "are things not going well with your art?"

The problem really is things are going well, but the world is so unstable that I long for some consistency and income that I don't have to pay quarterly taxes on

Gross. We need to protect our vulnerable and hungry, not restrict businesses from helping them.
The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

5 days left and $600 to go!

Please help fund this wonderful deluxe ed. @ringoawards.bsky.social nom’d comic by @anasabdulhak.bsky.social and @dennismenheere.bsky.social !

It deserves it on quality/merit alone, but will help a displaced comics creator as well 🙌 www.kickstarter.com/projects/den...
It was a great accomplishment to empty out the storage unit last month, one less bill.
Organizing the gah-rage to prepare for next weekend's swap, and during-after I'm planning to hunker down/purge, so it's less cluttered through the winter. Gradually bringing short boxes into the house/basement. It's a lot! I'm choosing to see it as an adventure.

Yrs ago Sam Adams wanted mass encampments & tweeted, Well, what's your idea? I & others responded w/numerous things that work. One idea I had is Hey, subsidize me converting my detached garage into a tiny home. Someone lives there for free for the 1st few years. Win win. People do better in housing.

Obama: "The weird videos of a US president with a crown on his head flying a fighter jet & dumping poop on American citizens - that's not even worth booing about. Because all of that is a distraction from the fact that your situation, your life has not gotten better. They do it so you won't notice"
