Weird to be commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Am Rev while living under a government that has a) sent armed troops to occupy cities perceived to be too rebellious, b) rendered largely irrelevant the representative branch of government, and c) claimed imperial right to rule other countries.

Law enforcement agencies, local and federal, must face defunding when they have systemic misconduct and systemic unaccountability. You can't keep funding unconstitutional policing just because they're politically powerful and they threaten your campaign.

Because I research the links between Christian fundamentalist and far-right political activists, facebook algorithms give me a weird feed. Local churches inviting me to their Sunday services, and churches inviting me to their firearms trainings, and insurrectionists who quote the Bible.

I found the Proud Boy church, Serena's (Right Side Rebel, who is dating Enrique Tarrio) church. Roseburg Christian Fellowship, a Calvary Chapel Church, of course. These are the pastors who baptized her recently.
