Darkhaven began with the premise 'what if when you get struck by lightning, you become superhuman, but the powers that be can't have that so they pick you up and reverse the lightning strike and that's what injures you'

It changed a lot in the writing, but the superhuman part stuck!

The cover of my novel BOOM goes the BRIDE with a dumb meme. An elven woman riding a jetbike drops off an asian woman, who is dressed like a greek god.
