We're getting those sticker sheets that will absolutely make people go "dude, this is fucked up" once they've read the book. 🤘🏽 Consider them out-of-context spoilers. I also drew 'em myself.
NEXT STRETCH GOAL WHEN?

If it were to come up in my writing, I’d definitely write about the Singularity, be it as something that some want, or some see as inevitable & the natural resistance there’d be to it.
The horror wouldn’t necessarily come from the event itself, as much as from those who want it.

Hi. I’m David Southwell. I do Hookland. For me the industrial past holds more horror in its soot cicatrix because it’s not only root of the modern ecological terror we find ourselves living through, but as I working class writer I would still echoes as intergenerational trauma.

Hard to fit into a character limit. But I have always loved the idea of DISGUSTING mechs. Fluid filled cockpits. Permanent body ports for chemicals you get addicted to. Forgetting where you begin and the machine ends. Losing the ability to think like you used to. Etc 👀

I would either adapt stories I heard from Merythyr Tydfil when it was Iron Capital of the World
Or do a fucked up story about someone forced at gunpoint to be a human bot, writing bad faith grifting shit on ANYTHING, especially stuff that don't matter just to rile people up 😟

Sucks to be a minimum wage worker. Choose your breaking point: 12th shift in a row or fed into the unknown nothing that employs you.

I be Eryn, I write psychological and supernatural horror, often historical based: and I think industrial horror of the future is scarier.
And you can just fight me on that because you know I'm right.

There is a great deal of fear to be milked from the machine beasts of the Industrial Revolution. The frames, engines and mills that suddenly held so many human beings in their thrall at the behest of capitalists. #HorrorWritersChat

Hey y'all! I write body/cosmic/comedy/horror in general and I really like industrial horror of a hard to describe variety. Perhaps future. I like biomechanical, bleak landscapes. Think Scorn. Beksinski's works. Etc.

For me, it's always industrial horror of the future, because you won't just be mutilated - you COULD be turned into something completely else - a new form.

Hi I'm HD Beird, sexy and weird
This week HD stands for Hate Demagogue's
I write horror mixed with sci-fi, mystery, action and a bit of smut
The horror of the industrial revolution sticks with me, as it was men being fed into a meat grinder
But AI shit today scares me

Hello, my name is Jacob Marsh and I write horror and supernatural thrillers.
And, the industrial horror of the future is scarier. The horrors of the mines and mills can break my body, but they cannot compare to a prison of the mind.
I don't want to be a brain in a jar.

It's me, Mitch. Horror writer of the folk, sci-fi, and weird kind.
If we're talking IRL: future. If we're talking spec fic, I've a soft spot for horrors of the past depicting the future. There's always an eeriness to them that hides behind avoided possibility.
