To some, Christmas is a time of family and love. But not Scrooge. After the tragic loss of his wife, Christmas became a beacon to grief, and a life long since lost.

Tonight she will return, but will Ebenezer have the strength to confront a painful past in order to save a once promising future?
Just incase I miss tonight, a reminder that there's a #HorrorWritersChat anthology in the works in honour of our creator MG Mason.
DM me for anyone wishing to take part or wanting to hear more!

Have a great night everyone!

With 1 more month of my Indie Paperback Plan to go, I thought it'd be fun to look back on all the gems I've acquired this year.

A nice variety of genres & styles that should keep me occupied for some time!
(Yes feel free to suggest what would be a great one to pick up for Dec!)

Demelza, a world-weary witch, and Uliana, an even more exhausted vampyre, work together to send wayward demons, ghosts and otherworldly creatures back to where they came from. But some jobs are more difficult than others.

This month I have a story appearing in Suspended Magazine - a literary mag of prose, poetry, & pieces of art! It's published by @jaymone.bsky.social & is one of my favorite magazines out there in indie spaces:

I’ll showcase my Backrooms-inspired labyrinth creature horror that I mentioned in the food question. Basement Floor 2 features a mechanic who takes a long elevator ride down to a dark maze of a basement with a wolf-like monster stalking him. Some space-bending happening.

Ahead of The Residents of James Hotel going wide in a couple of weeks, I have updated the file on Amazon, and on D2D to include the short story "Henrietta's Story" on the end.

If you bought the version without, don't worry, you're not missing out. It's still on the blog and will remain there too
The Residents of James Hotel: Henrietta’s Story
The Residents of James Hotel released today! This is a short story spinoff featuring the supporting character “Henrietta.”

I have a gothic horror novella set in 1926, in which 9-yr-old Rosalyn plays a make-believe game of a Royal Court with 4 other girls. All of them want to (need to) be Queen... Things escalate. Significantly.🍀🔨👑

I'm always happy to take part in #horrorwriterschat and less thrilled to promote myself. Just how I'm wired. Still, I'm proud of my first collection and want it to find more readers.

Evil statues, vampire priests (and a vampire attorney), cursed movies and, yes, a clown-based apocalypse.

I’ll plug one of my other horror film monographs, the book I wrote about Ealing Studios’ ‘Dead of Night’. If you haven’t seen this film yet, please correct that deficiency at the earliest opportunity.
Leaving the cinema, our eyes acclimatise to the change in light.

Before we part ways, please share your latest horror writer wins, news, sales, promos or fellow #HorrorWritersChat books you love.

REMEMBER: You can self-promote ONLY if you’ve participated in the questions.

Thank you, Horror pals!
