The ABBA song "Take a Chance on Me" has always confused me with its lyrics, but I suppose "If you're all alone when the pretty birds have flown" makes more sense than what I thought the lyric was: "If you're all alone when the pretty person phones."

Subsuming the human into the technological until neither is recognizable on its own. Again I point to the Borg as the example. No individual consciousness, and a relentless need to assimilate. Or AI copies of the self allowed to persist past the original human's death. #horrorwriterschat
