Why rewrite Turaylons backstory?
It wasn't ALWAYS there.
Rewriting it NOW, & saying that it was back then, doesnt make it so. He wasnt always a zealot.
He was pious & humble, doubted himself & his worthiness. Then, he turned.

Chris is an incredible Senior FX artist who always delivered through all my crazy requests. He will be an incredible asset for any team.
Seeing Hector work is nothing short of amazing. I was always eager to see what new things he would show. I have nothing but admiration for his work.

Tough day for Cryptic STO team. We're losing two of our most senior artists, including Hector Ortiz, who codified the look of STO's unique 25th-century Starfleet aesthetic. The other is Senior FX Artist Chris Menard, who has been on the project with me for the last 15 years. We'll miss them dearly.

It was Hector's concept art for the Caelian that made me fall in love with the ship. But that's not the only concept art I liked.

The Adamant, Titan Science Destroyer, and the Kholhr Temporal Warbird are also some of my favorites.
