Chris is an incredible Senior FX artist who always delivered through all my crazy requests. He will be an incredible asset for any team.
Seeing Hector work is nothing short of amazing. I was always eager to see what new things he would show. I have nothing but admiration for his work.

Tough day for Cryptic STO team. We're losing two of our most senior artists, including Hector Ortiz, who codified the look of STO's unique 25th-century Starfleet aesthetic. The other is Senior FX Artist Chris Menard, who has been on the project with me for the last 15 years. We'll miss them dearly.

i think the worst part is that this asshole thinks they're being funny but negative reviews hurt games a lot. sure, it might not affect Expedition 33 at this point but doing the same with any indie game can seriously ruin their chances at discovery on steam.
