The one thing they don't tell you about being an adult is that people are going to constantly bring up movies that were released 25-75 years ago, and act like you're some sort of cretin if you've never seen it.

At least they didn't follow that up with two more atrocious calls on the last drive of regulation.....oh wait.
So video replay assist looks at the Mariota scramble and rules that the runner was down by contact. The contact in question is a classic leg-whip trip, which is a 15 yard penalty. And the Commanders are the ones who suffer. The NFL makes so much sense all the time.
