Rather than reissuing ANOTHER omnibus edition of Clive Barker's Books of Blood, how about reissuing the original 6 volumes honouring Clives glorious artwork and format? Maybe add a limited edition box to store them in 🤔

The 'art' for the recent reissue is appalling.

I agree. I had the W&N versions, but they disappeared during a housemove 😭

I'm lucky enough to have the Subterranean set in my Barker collection. They are beautiful books.

I was hoping for the individual volumes as paperbacks this time around (especially as we are celebrating 40 years since pub)

I get so depressed by people posting pics of Peter Haining anthologies. He was a FRAUD - attributing stories to the wrong people, making shit up that's still read as gospel, passing shit off, The damage he caused is still being uncovered and dealt with to this day.

A year ago I started writing a novel 'unlike' anything I'd tackled before. Though there're elements familiar to readers, this one's a different beast. Working through six drafts with Kodie has been a phenomenal experience.

I'm still struggling with poor mental and physical health. Hospital appointments are constantly being rescheduled or cancelled.

I loved it, although it did suffer from stupid humans do stupid things to progress plot.

It felt a little underwritten with finale payoffs a little disappointing, although it set things up nicely for Season 2.

Now that #AlienEarth has finished, I'm going to continue to feed my Xenomorph addiction with the Alien novels.

First off is Tim Lebbon's 'Out of the Shadows'.

50 pages in, and so far, so good.

I'll read and rate them all.

Choices were certainly made for the #AlienEarth finale. 😆

It was a thoroughly enjoyable season, but it did feel more and more underwritten as episodes progressed to the point where stuff just happened to get to the promise of Season 2.
