This was such a fun photo to set up, taken by Thomas Reiter through a sleep station window on Mir. The sun was so bright we were all squinting like crazy. When visiting Aotearoa New Zealand if you know these few words you can translate a hell of a lot of places:

wai: water, awa: river, roto: lake, puke*:hill, nui: big, iti: small,
roa: long, tai: coast, tuna: eel, manu: bird,
motu: land, rua: two, te/nga: the, maunga: mountain

Examples:
