Have u read Frankenstein? It started the horror genre" and that sort of dialogue. "Oh u like absurdism? How about dadaism art?" I know this all takes a certain level of intellect and all but adults in all stages of a kids life have a responsibility to foster that sort of supportive conversation

They're not gonna respond positively. They're gonna "rebel" and push back against what the adults think is right and good.parents need to listen to their kids and hear what their interests are whether or not they understand it and redirect it in a way "oh ur interested in horror games?

Agreed. U can't change behavior by shame. It doesn't work. As "difficult" as it is for lack of a better word, u have to meet people where they are and support and foster a better mindset. Esp with kids. If u just taunt them and tease them for not being smart enough or whatev,

Partially agree but I think what's more important is that reading fosters critical thinking, slowing down and processing info rather than 30 sec clips of what u already like to see, etc.
