Treating today as a day of action in whatever way I can, so I'm donating to the Immigrant Rapid Response Fund. Join me in donating? (Or to the mutual aid org of your choice!)

in times of turmoil it is very easy to feel like theres nothing you can do to help, especially if you are far away, but i promise buckaroo EVERYTHING helps. there is direct action like donating money or protesting, and there is cultural action like creating art and cultivating atmosphere of change

Four weeks in on my upcycled wood butterfly project. I went a little simpler on this one, working with dotwork geometric patterns and flowing vines. All upcycled wood and @decoart reclaimed acrylics.

Delivered my artwork for the Mexic-Arte Museum fundraiser. The theme this year is musicians, & I made this Tom Waits Blue Valentines. The cradled board was provided, I used scrap wood for Tom, & upcycled hearts for my valentines. It'll be available at the opening reception Jan 30th at Mexic-Arte.

Third butterfly art of the year made entirely from salvaged wood and reclaimed acrylics from @decoart. This butterfly was so much fun to paint, it was inspired by a Victorian quilt made of fabric scraps. 🦋♻️🌻

Not the first time he's shown his true colors, but y'all really need to stop using Sticker Mule if you are.

There are alternatives, I promise.
The latest move by Sticker Mule's owner. Please don't give these people your money (or honestly send them your artwork, you never know).

Hey everyone,

We literally just added 100 more trans girl scouts to the trans girl scout cookie list. The list is bigger than it has ever been in EITM history.

Go get some cookies and make a trans scout's day!
1. Did you know that Girl Scouts has, for a long time, accepted trans girls and nonbinary scouts?

Trans kids are under attack. Every year, I make a thread of trans and nonbinary girl scouts you can get your cookies from.

Lets get our cookies from them this year in solidarity!
2026 Trans Girl Scouts To Order Cookies From!
This year, consider ordering your Girl Scout cookies from a trans girl scout to make their day!

At the end of this month I'm installing a mini Valentine's Day art show at Coco Coquette! I scored a big bag of wooden hearts at a creative reuse center and have been painting them for mini affordable art magnets as part of the show. Here's the first batch, what else should I paint on them?

But do film them. Abolish ICE.

This piece is going to some married friends who met in activism, which makes me so happy. I'm continually making more with this message. All upcycled wood and acrylic paint.

While it's still Year of the Snake, I'm goldleafing a laser cut design I did, to honor what I've shed.

In 2026, every week I'm making a piece of art involving a butterfly, entirely from thrifted/salvaged/upcycled wood, & using the @decoart reclaimed acrylics paint line. Deforestation is a major reason butterfly & other pollinators populations are declining.

Things are scary and I've been making art about it. This piece is just one out of an expanding collection that's all made from trash/salvaged materials. It's going to be a show at some point. I can't wait to share it with you. 🏳️‍⚧️🧿🌷

Austin people! I'm part of the Austin Studio Tour today and tomorrow 12-6 at Coco Coquette. See bedazzled art of vengeful goddesses and then shop for drag paraphernalia.

If we learned something from Ozzy and his getting his one big farewell show, is that we need to give people their flowers while they are still with us. Celebrate your beloveds and tell them every day. This floating rock lost a titan today.
