Endoplasmic reticulum exit sites (ERES) are specialized ER subdomains that regulate the export of secreted cargo. This Roadmap explores how ERES integrate biochemical and mechanical signals to coordinate trafficking and proposes a multidisciplinary strategy to investigate their function, including in disease.

El hecho de que EE.UU. haya sido el hegemón más liberal de la historia de la Humanidad y además una democracia liberal completa durante 50 años (años 70 hasta Trump) es, tal vez un anomalía histórica...y si es así, la izquierda europea y la idea de Europa desaparecerán. Y no lo ven.

inequality went down 2020-24, cost of living went down over the same period, the increase in nonwhite Americans is a long trend that barely budged in that period.

the thing that changed, a lot, is the media and information environment, which became dramatically more fascist

Would you be willing to concede that Americans are embracing fascism for the below reasons?

1. Economic inequality + high cost of living

2. Increase in number of non white Americans via immigration

3. Algorithmic based social media pushing Americans towards hate

The replies to this tweet were recommended to me when I opened the app. The people making these replies are making hundreds or thousands of dollars off them - they're monetized and look how much engagement they're getting. It's become a fullbore funding mechanism for white supremacy.
