I tried to do senior dog- and it turned out to be my heart dog and we only had him 2 years, it took me over 3 years to heal my broken heart … so, I have to get younger dogs - my heart can’t take another. ❤️

I always ask rescue for the dog that is least adoptable… handicapped in some way. Our latest, was afraid of his own shadow and took a long time to acclimate to a house. He would not go thru doorways, much less, go up to people. Now he is a love bug. ❤️ some day I will have a deaf dog. 😊
