I'm gonna listen to the audiobook for Santa Olivia by Jacqueline Carey again. It has to be one of my top five all time favorite reads. I think it's genuinely a Great American Novel. Please go read it if you have not.

Sometimes things are in my library hold queue so long that I have no idea how they got there. Just started a new romantasy audiobook and instantly disliked it. Gave it a couple chapters and it continued to grate on me. I have to assume it's only in my list because supposedly there are dragons.

Last night at skate school I finally found out why we've spent the last five weeks doing crossover practice every time. The whole group came together to learn a crossover based dance routine to increasingly fast music. It was so fun! Then we did the relay race and I actually participated this time!

I finally had my consultation with the allergist about possible titanium allergies. He was so nice, even said he was sorry that I had those symptoms happen to me, and said they can test for all the metals in the alloy in panel testing. I'm so grateful when doctors are kind and believe me.

I have reached the point in roller skating where I feel so much joy being able to just flow and move to the beat during rink skating. I wonder if that's what people who get runner's high feel. I'm so excited to continue to improve and learn. I wanna be able to transition and go backwards, too.

Today I made pizza crust then went to the local roller rink for the first time. Adult skate night was fun! I didn't fall and did at least attempt a few things that I'm learning. Mostly I just tried to flow. Now I'm very hungry and waiting for the pizza stone to be ready to cook the pizza.
