Since we introduced free school meals for London’s state primary school children two years ago, an incredible 100 million have now been provided.

Thank you to everyone who has worked together to reach this historic milestone.

What do you get when you mix the best selling single of the king of pop with the lately departed queen of MAGA?

This is what we get: a parody of Billie Jean about #mtg #maga #marjorietaylorgreene 🎶🕺

Binks spends a lot of the day roaming far and wide around the neighbourhood. So, when he settles down to sleep, he becomes almost comatose. He is currently out cold on his favourite pillow on my bed. He will be there for hours.
Because I can't be bothered making dinner, I have just had my first 2 mince pies of the season (pinched from the AGM). They are delicious.
And the councillors specifically thanked our amazing staff for all they do for everyone who comes to the Centre. They all work for low wages (the London living wage) but do everything they can for anyone who needs them. Commonside is so lucky to have them.

Well, Kemi just keeps getting worse. A dreadful woman. Perfect for the Tory Party.
Utterly juvenile and unparliamentary antics from Kemi Badenoch during her response to the budget.

Desperate, undignified and ineffective.

And I live in a 'cheap' part of greater London. If you are paying £800pcm in rent (which isn't uncommon around here for a room), you probably should be able to eat somewhere apart from your bed or standing in the kitchen.
I live in a house with no communal areas except a galley kitchen and a hallway. Because I have the biggest room, I have a table, My housemates don't so have to eat on their beds. I think Landlords shouldn't be able to get away with this.

As is always the case, a physically hideous man thinks he can insult a woman's looks. Plus ca change.
I posted a montage of 19 clips last week of Trump making personal attacks against female reporters in just the last few months. Now we have #20.

At the Board meeting/AGM, there were 3 local councillors, a representative from the Council, and a member of the local community police. The Tories cut local council services to the bone but they are so important in communities.

I am the same age as the Fag Ash Fuhrer. That word has never been used in a 'nice' way in my life time.
Nigel Farage asked about Reform MS Laura Anne Jones (who the Senedd Commissioner found had used a racist term in a staff WhatsApp chat in August 2023 while discussing TikTok writing: “No chinky spies for me.”)
"Well, she used a word that colloquially, probably was meant in a nice way 20 years ago."

Just saw a post describing Leavitt as 'Satan's Barbie', Perfect.
Karoline Leavitt: “Thanksgiving is all about friends, food, fun, and calling ICE on my brother’s mistresses.”

Off to a Board meeting in my leopard print Oodie. It is really chilling here so keeping warm in my priority. There is no reason why Bet Lynch can't be the Treasurer of a charity !!! 🤣

He lost his job. He was outed as gay.

Trump, of course, is a really skinny man (not). Cnut.
Trump: "I was gonna talk about Pritzker and size. But when I talk about Pritzker I get angry because he's not letting us do the job. So I'm not gonna tell my Pritzker joke. You know, some speechwriter wrote a joke about his weight ... I refuse to talk about the fact he's a fat slob"

I’m a past winner of the Orwell Prize & won partly because I exposed Vote Leave’s unlawful activities.

Michael Gove was its co-convener & refused to answer a single q. He’s now a judge of the prize & our world is truly one that Orwell would recognise

I can't give details but I am aware that cowardice about Trump has infected the BBC. Articles are being deleted and/or amended. A state broadcaster with the global power of the BBC should not be capitulating to a criminal, whatever office he holds.
“How do you cover Trump at the BBC without fear right now?”

Fellow lawyers will appreciate that this is a chef's kiss of a footnote.
lol the judge who disqualified lindsay halligan as us atty for edva included this footnote, citing a guy who agrees with him (or used to!?!?)
