Maybe I don’t want to leave my house because the world outside is seemingly trying to destroy, dismantle, and disgrace everything I stand for and believe in. Somehow knowledge, wisdom, empathy, compassion etc have been demonized and I no longer feel safe outside of my happy bubble.
