Updated guide for Windows 11 25H2:

1) Hit Winkey+R, type "gpedit.msc" and click OK.
2) Drill-down to Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows AI.
3) Configure as below.

These settings are permanent and will not be modified unless you join a domain.

One more overpainting of an older drawing, but this changed pretty drastically from the initial concept. Redrew the face, and I'll probably do the same with the hand (one might argue I should just start a new drawing, but I like to suffer)

Sometimes you'll look back on your old art and think it's good, as good as what you could do today even, and be disheartened about lack of improvement. Don't be though! Often, improvement comes in the form of consistency. More successes and less struggle is very important :>

In other news the fingers I accidentally... peeled (I wish there were other ways to describe it...) on my dominant hand have finally healed up enough that holding pens isn't painful anymore! Still a bit sensitive but otherwise fine.

Am I getting sick, or is work making the paperwork they want me to go through verbally far too long? I won't know til the project is over or I get horribly ill and can't leave my bed. Whichever happens first is the answer.

i think think this may be the first time i have ever drawn my own #OC for fun since i was like maybe 17? Its usually just everyone else's characters. I just doodled a bunch of #dnd characters I never got to do much with.

Tihn is a wizard pretending to be a bard, the vibes will ALWAYS be off...

and make no mistake, I do not think myself a better artist than them. I am still learning and growing just like everyone else is... but I also don't need to drag someone else down to be seen or appreciated. It isn't necessary, its quite rude.

I have just seen an uptick in other artists trying to one-up me in ridiculous and juvenile ways, and I have seen them trying to disparage me to make themselves or someone they like seem more important...

I am kind and polite with other creators, even when they are being very rude to me. But here's the thing: I do not have to be kind. The kindness is a choice, and I can always make a different choice.
