I do programming, and languages, but I’m a bit of a sponge for random knowledge, so I know a little bit about a lot more than just those two things.

Andrew Cuomo’s campaign just posted — and quickly deleted — this AI-generated ad depicting “criminals for Zohran Mamdani.”

Features a Black man in a keffiyeh shoplifting, an abuser, a trespasser, a trafficker, a drug dealer, and a drunk driver all declaring support for Mamdani.

Looks as if Trump is saying no Democrat will be allowed to win another national election—and he will use the FBI, the DOJ, and the CIA to make sure of that. This is a full-scale attack on American democracy, and every Republican, CEO, and conservative mouthpiece who doesn't object is complicit.
Trump: "We can never let what happened in the 2020 election happen again. We just can't let that happen. I know Kash is working on it, everybody is working on it. And certainly Tulsi is working on it. We can't let that happen again to our country."

It’s been a few months and I have a new update on SS1 disk reading. We ended up improving disk reading to be on par with loading from an SD in almost all CD-cores.

All CD cores except PS1 = indistinguishable from SD.

PS1 = edge cases where a game can be <1% slower.
Doing some testing of SS1 reading PS1 data directly from a disk without dumping the data first. It’s much better than I expected.

That being said, copying games to the SD or SSD is still the optimal strategy for performance. It’s a one-time process and better for random access.
Any time I get a glance at any thread from news from other people, I'm just… it causes me physical illness.

When Truman renovated the White House, he “relied on congressional appropriation and formal oversight by the Commission of Fine Arts and NCPC.”
Trump claims unilateral executive authority to demolish the East Wing & build a ballroom that he alone wants.

Just so we’re all clear on the gravity and historical significance of what Trump has done to the East Wing of the People’s House.

He's going to take money from my importation business (in the form of tariffs) and give it to other Americans who don't import goods.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, this is just wealth redistribution Republicans claim to despise. *At the expense of small businesses.*
Trump: "We'll probably make a distribution out of some of the tariff money over the next fairly short period of time to people."
In Germany, such a tattoo should get you kicked out of the military.

We also provide free-of-charge government paid removal of tattoos of „Verfassungswidrige“ Symbols.

Anyone carrying one is a deliberately violating criminal statute(s).

Can the Manhattan Project avoid building the nuclear bomb?
Every new pass of AI is at best slightly more likely to introduce errors than it is to introduce corrections.

An editor has to have a better than 100% correction:error ratio to be of any value.
Assuming all output from any LLM are 50–80% correct, the second LLM has a 50–80% chance of removing a valid citation the same it has a 50–80% chance of removing an invalid citation.

Mathematically, this error is compounding, meaning the second pass is (50–80%)² = 25–64%.

“My LLM has a failure rate of 50-80% on the first pass, so I make a second pass to fix the errors.”

DAWG, if your LLM fails 50-80% of the time on the first pass, what makes you believe it is failing at less than 50-80% on the second pass?

What the fuck.
