Hi #skystorians! A freshman in my History of Animals course wants to do research on the history of service animals. I would love some recommendations for secondary sources to get her started. Anybody working at the intersection of disability history and animal history?

From @theathletic.com: The beginning of the end for Nick Castellanos’ time in Philadelphia came on the night when the $100 million outfielder cracked open a Presidente beer and carried the green bottle into the Phillies dugout in the middle of a game. nyti.ms/4kvOslU
How the Phillies’ $100 million marriage with Nick Castellanos ended in divorce
When the Phillies ate $20 million on Thursday and released Castellanos, it was an admission that the relationship was irrevocably broken.

Because if it is was Mexican cartel drones why did they issue the same NOTAM for New Orleans?

1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.

Hundreds of kids are still detained.
