Not sure what they do there but an amputation would’ve been more effective than the mental, physical and financial state I am in now.

Coworker & I passed other coworkers doing asphalt in the parking lot, not their typical duties.

My partner says to them, “Oh, you’re being street workers today!”

And was then confused when we laughed.

I watch a lot of #TrueCrime and I just realized how much I fail to see the sacrifice survivors make to be in these documentaries and series.

The idea of someone putting a camera in my face at my son’s gave. No way. It would be footage of a sad, sobbing lost soul with no words of wisdom or comfort.
