There are so many deserving causes out there that deserve your help. If you only have a little to give, give it to one of them.

If you have more, please consider giving it to us.

"I have never seen the line this long at this food bank, This is 4x the size of every previous year...the line wraps around the building a second time..Everyone is freezing and an older lady in line had to be taken inside because she looked like she was about to pass out from being too cold..."

"Healing people when people are supposed to be resting is no different than murdering people who are supposed to be living" would give Rose Mary Woods a groin injury.
Quite the shift from "I think if you do something bad you should die" immediately to "as they say in the Bible..."

Amazon Prime's classification of the Equestria Girls movies concerns me.
December 6, 2025 at 11:52 PM
After reluctantly absorbing more information about Equestria Girls than I ever intended to learn, I've decided that the apparent lack of a humanoid Discord can only be explained by the fact that the MLP franchise is part of the Star Trek multiverse. Prove me wrong.

i want to win 51-49 based on promises of vengeance.

They wouldn't even need to record it. Just get the recordings from the other takes.
"please someone get AI to do this" is the most pathetic fuckin sentence i have ever read. take a good look at how far the AI revolution has taken us. from "could someone please record this ten second bit and lay it over existing moon landing footage" all the way to "please SOMEONE get AI to do this"

If you needed one more reason to compare the US to Germany, consider this. After Germany lost WWI, bad actors used resentment about the loss to take over the government in the inter-war period.

The US did the same thing; our inter-war period was just about 120 years longer.

it is if you lost the war
people died for birthright citizenship. i get that it’s more fun to be a pundit when your team has the white house and you get to brag to friends about visiting the oval office; but what i’m wondering is if maybe that’s actually not a good reason to throw away something we fought a civil war to win?

if i was a reporter at all, i'd maybe write about how the image could be manipulated by rotating the hands 90 degrees and moving the fingers up to the equator
if i was still a race reporter, i'd maybe write about how the image looks almost exactly like the image on the first edition on the cover of the deeply racist novel "the camp of the saints" which is in vogue with the racists running this country (and beyond).

(*i'm still a reporter, really)
If I was still an art reporter, I would write about the sculptor behind this and whether it intentionally looks like the hands of decaying people

Brett Kavanaugh sees no problem with this woman being forced to do this every day for the rest of her life
“Traumatized, humiliated, degraded.”

The nurse, a US citizen, 4’11”, 85 lbs, says she was following orders when she was dragged out of her car by masked immigration agents in Florida.

It was the 3rd time she had been stopped and told to produce ID.

NPR fights Trump's executive order against public media

The case isn't getting much attention.

But it pits the press's right not to face government retaliation over coverage against the president's assertion of vast executive powers

BREAKING: American law firm independently invents Europe
Several weeks ago, I email a lawyer I've been working with on a case, hey we have this deadline, what are we going to do? No response.

Monday, I email him again. No response.

Today I text him, hey have you been getting my emails?

He replies, I'm no longer with the firm. Email [Partner].
