I was almost late 2 or 3 times to get my kids to school bc my neighbor was a terrible driver & hit squirrels (& turtles & frogs et al) the turkey vultures blocked the road. I got out of the car & and tried to negotiate 2 minutes. Bc i didn't yell they let me go by. Sweet creatures tbh

North NJ we have a ton of locals but that seems even a lot for here. By a nature preserve so they are allowed to thrive but yeah a LOT.

Batch of smoked tomato sauce is done. Lots of fresh garden herbs in here, and the smoked tomatoes were balanced with some fresh sungold cherry tomatoes from our bush. 🌱 🍜🍽️

A pot full of a thick tomato sauce that is probably closer to tomato paste in texture than what people typically think of for tomato sauce.

I really like you but being unable to drive i can talk to a therapist once a week & a neurologist who i only have to see in person once a year. I have 2 ppl local who can drive me. They don't have unlimited days off. It has been helpful for me. I can wait.

So private donors are funding this which means they'll get tax breaks that'll cost us at least 5xs (most likely more bc he's a sucker). We are fucked.

Set a f ton of Costco prosecco bottles in my yard in lieu of fireworks & we all made a video of us running through the sparking wine. Of course we had to cut the parts where the cork absolutely beamed some women but tbh we didn't like them anyway.

I'm a bad sister. I got sick & couldn't shovel everyone's nonsense. I literally planned an entire 100 ppl reunion & my ex husband drove me down with me in the foot well bunched over a trashcan bc the new meds just made me puke. Apparently I'm a drama queen. Yesterday's dinner with @vesta93.bsky.social burgers, fries & green beans fried in a breadcrumb coating. We'll have to retire the grill soon for the season.

My daughter went to a wedding & got "adopted" by a gay couple. My full length Calvin Klein red silk dress with my pink wrap. I literally live in sweatpants these days bc I'm chronically ill but I can style a bitch.

Just going to lose my shit. My BF just said I know how men think & women need to be more careful. MFer I've carried a knife since i was 16. Wasn't allowed to as an RA & got attacked multiple xs & my right hook saved me.
