As a touring FOH engineer, I can’t stress point 3 enough. I never let my artists use house mics.
Pro Music Tips:
1. Stop worrying people won’t like your music. If you bring it, the right fans will find you.
2. You WILL fuck up on stage, so instead of stressing about it, practice to the point where a fuck up won’t derail you.
3. Buy your own vocal mic. Microphones at venues are disgusting.🤮
