That sounds (ahem) like a bug rather than a customer service feature... Are the books reference books or similar non-fiction?
I can't think why many books would ever get updated except technical references.

So just found out that Audible have silently removed six audiobooks from my library. Because I noticed, and complained, they gave six credits to buy them back again. They did this because the publishers updated the books and Audible just deleted the old versions.

It seems far too many people in the U.S. are more concerned with football or basketball or wrestling (etc) than noticing the entire country has gone hell in a hand basket... Democrats in office are particularly unengaged as usual...just waiting for their turn I guess.
I tried watching the news for a second but they wouldn’t stop talking about football instead of how the President is currently orchestrating a soft coup against democratic principles and systems

I truly believe that the Capitol Police showed restraint in not using deadly force. I could not have been that restrained in that situation. Those criminals were very lucky
