Honestly I had to stop doing things like inktober and MonsterMay it’s unrealistic and you burn out quickly. Nowadays I’m lucky if I can do art on the weekends, and honestly I want to do art as opposed to when I felt like I had to do it. It’s a nice feeling.

Inktober sets completely unrealistic expectations regarding output. Making a complete inked drawing in one day EVERY day for a month is insane and a recipe for burnout. Don’t tie your worth to something that even professionals believe is unrealistic.
