dunno if you've played the original yooka-laylee (which is an Okay game), but replaylee is a pretty good improvement-type remake of it

if you haven't, replaylee is basically "what if you played as banjo, moveset and controls and all, in mario odyssey?"

I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.

wrote 20 pages on Faulkner's The Bear four hours before final papers were due on trucker pills and coffee and cigarettes and got an A, fuck you.
You people couldn't hang with real slackers.

i don't have a switch 2 and i don't have a ps5. i have thirty dollars, a capable pc, and a substantial amount of annoyance towards ign for not being honest just coz playtonic didn't toss money at them to review their game.

funniest bug to come out of it was some people getting the mage tower bear/cat druid forms unlocked for them

wagering that it might convince blizzard to bring back mage tower and the appearances/forms for it in a later phase, but i am more than fully willing to admit i will be wrong on this

legion remix is fun but MAN has it been suffering from the server overload, i don't even remember pandaria remix's early days being THIS spotty, damn

had this thought during the last remix event but i have no doubt in my mind that blizz is doing these remix events as stress test for their new xpaks

funfact: i also still own my original disc for frogger 2: swampy's revenge. when i was young, i got so annoyed about not being able to beat the last three levels that i wrote and drew an entire fanfic of the game's story with an alternate ending

i wasn't even 10 at the time so it was very short

baby's first dark souls but frogger was mesmerizing to lil gen. banjo-kazooie had more of an impact esp as a creative kickstart, but i played frogger way before then!

still have my original disc, too :D kinda want to install it on my laptop just so i can dink around in it on my offtimes!
