I live in Idaho, sadly, upon seeing this video of the assault, I am not surprised that no one stepped in to help this lady. Idaho is about 75% Red rabbid #Maga folks. They would be afraid of being Ostracized and targeted by the community.

Yes, you are correct, Idaho is a breeding ground for White Christian Nationalists. I live in Idaho and unfortunately, I was not surprised this happened. On a daily basis I am mocked and verbally assaulted for standing up the Democratic Party and voicing my opposition to Trump and Fascist Polices.

Hypothetically,If FEMA goes away, what happens to home owners and other insurance rates ?

Climate change looks like it will make rates so high, home insurers will want equity in your house as a way of holding down rates

I wonder how much the dissolution of FEMA and cancellation of flooding infrastructure programs is going to increase insurance premiums?

Especially as the population ages, inflation spikes, and a large % of housing stock is used as short term rentals in high risk areas.
