TRUMP: I have been told. There's a rumor about it. That would be a great honor.

We've literally "moved on from that" to murder.
CNN: Are you worried about Sec Hegseth's leadership considering what you're seeing here from the IG?

REP. MARK ALFORD: Not one big. I think Pete made a mistake in using Signal for some of this information. We've moved on from that

Q: Should he admit his mistake?

ALFORD: Look, I'm not Pete Hegseth

The most interesting part of this story isn’t that the pipe bomber is MAGA. That was blatantly obvious. What should interest folks is that the FBI and DoJ hid that fact from you, and still haven’t made a statement. This info is coming from sources on the condition of anonymity.

Interesting phrasing. It‘s quite natural to ask if (a) there’s both overt and covert dimensions to this strategy; and (b) if the latter, whether there’s a presidential finding/directive to conduct influence operations favoring far right/white supremacist/anti-immigrant political parties & movements.

There is a "fix" for that, but it's the long struggle of building an actually democratic society in which learning is valued more than knowledge and knowledge is more valued than certification. Any number of experimental colleges & programs work toward this.
The invention of a perfect cheating machine just exposes a more fundamental problem, which is that most students go to college to get a degree, and any actual learning is incidental to that. There’s no real fix for that other than a devaluation of degrees in the job market, which is coming.

At the end of this clip, Berman had Cotton taking the position (which is de facto the Administration’s position) that the President on his own can declare who he wants to to be terrorists and to kill them under inherent Article II authority.
BERMAN: Would it be legal for police in Arkansas to kill suspected drug dealers on a boat in a lake?

TOM COTTON: The premise of your question is not well-founded

BERMAN: The answer is no. It would not be legal to kill them.
