Probably one of the most relevant writings on the vast political manoeuvre against Ekrem Imamoglu. Esat Aydin discusses the ruling bloc's plan to build a system without opposition. A project that can only succeed if there is a divided opposition and a passive people.

Points of divergence: "Most Kurds" instead of „all Kurds“ (as exp. by Ahmet Turk); counting Ozel together with Erdogan&Bahceli (Ocalan refers to the latter two); the need for Ankara to orient itself towards Kurds (again ref. Ahmet Turk‘s statement)&no mention of external powers.
Points of divergence/nuances in Demirtas' statement:

1) "Most Kurds are oriented towards Turkey. The current moment has the potential to benefit everyone as long as it builds peace and a strong democracy. For this, Turkey and the Turkish state should also orient itself towards all the Kurds."

It sounds like he might have listened to James Jeffrey, who in his recent interview with Al-Monitor said - if I recall correctly - that the US withdrawal from N.Syria would create security vacuums, which would not be good for Turkey.
Erdoğan says 🇹🇷 has to prepare for a possible U.S. withdrawal from northern Syria under Trump & is negotiating with 🇷🇺 over this. U.S. disengagement means that 🇷🇺 & 🇨🇳 increase their influence like this in regions across the globe. It’s an odd way of countering 🇨🇳.
