Thread. In a smaller way, I did this when I came to Bluesky and decided not to be the guy who got into arguments here, like I had been on the former Twitter. That choice has done rather a bit to make Bluesky generally a better place for me to be, and, I hope, a better hang for others here too.

Get stuck on a project with a grumpy coworker, and you start feeling down as well. A controversial 2012 study by Facebook even found that showing people more negative social media led people to post more negative posts themselves – without even realizing it. (The reverse was also true.)

Work crew watches an earth mover attached to a VOLVO TRUCK (I don't know why I find it hilarious it isn't even an AMERICAN truck) as it tears apart the facade of America's house. I have added a caption, not my original thought or anything, it's been flying around the internets for a day or so... "TRUMP DID WHAT BIN LADEN COULDN'T." Pretty goddamned accurate, if you ask me. why not use actual footage instead of AI filler? there's plenty of good video footage of actual protestors - this video is a bit of a missed opportunity to spread awareness and kind of leaves a bad taste after some reflection. good luck, though

If Qatar want us to train their pilots, that's fine. That can be done in Qatar. I don't want Qatari Air Force pilots to be in control of military aircraft in US airspace in any circumstance. They're sympathetic to groups like Al-Qaeda and not trustworthy.
