Hi #PortfolioDay! I'm Lars and I am an artist and game dev. I have an ongoing webcomic Beast Fables, am working on a graphic novel, and make games with @twigbit.games!

It turns out painting mossy bricks is an absolute delight.

In my intro Making course, a favorite project, students pick 3 comics authors that inspire, influence, aspire to be like to mimic for a comic about themselves for "autobiographical influences". Some stellar examples from this time around 1/3
three pages playing with three different styles - Archie, street angles and tales from the crypt three strips - playing with styles of three different cartoonists, Jim Davis, Stephan Pastis, and Charles Schulz three pages of comics paying home to three styles - Tillie Walden, Tatsuki Fujimoto, Schulz one page, three styles Bill Watterson Raina Telgemeier and Marnie Galloway

I quit the former Twitter two years ago this week, and I am here to tell you that my online life got a lot better for having left it. In two years I've not been tempted to go back, and I haven't felt any penalty in either career or community for not being there. It's nice to be here and not there.

I think it might be time to update my "Escape Pod" site template to add comics so artists can host their own comics for free like I do. No strings attached. No evil hosting platforms. Take it wherever you want.
