I usually don’t like linking to the NYT, but I think it’s important to know that they wrote and published an obituary immediately for Alice Wong. (It selectively left out parts of her disability activism that they didn’t like, of course.)

Huh. Just realized this design possibility. I'm not Japanese or Korean, but I use 'Jisu' as a short form of 'Janice' in both languages. (my name is awkward to pron.) They share a character that is kinda similar-looking. It happens to be the 'su' of Jisu in katakana, and part of 'Ji' in hangul. neat
