I was not correct about this. There are many concessions.
Metroid Prime 4 seems to be a truly no concessions Prime game, or at least it looks a lot like Prime Remastered, which felt admittedly "old" (some would say dated, I mean it literally is). So I'm curious to see how a game like that will drop in today's landscape.

I don't get extraction shooters. Let's just accelerate to the logical conclusion of "it raises the stakes to lose stuff you spent real world time gathering":
if you die in the game a pneumatic tube in your gamer helmet rockets into your brain, killing you instantly

In Metroid Prime Remastered Samus puts her hand on her arm cannon occasionally, this is good, it's immersion increasing and the kind of little detail that elevates a game. In Prime 4 she does not do this.

this tweet prompted me to play HORSES and there's absolutely nothing that's even close to being a problem. And also the game isn't really that disturbing (or scary). I have to assume that someone at Steam watched the fmv parts of the game and assumed they saw something they didn't like? idk
What the fuck is in that HORSES game that is so mental that the stores won't carry it. Every time I open up Steam and check the new/trending tab it's ten different variations on something like Hentai Immigrant Stomper

last week i remembered that macOS lets you set your own icons and that *I* have the power to delegitimize the professionalism of the software that runs on my machine, so here's a thread of the 16 new icons i've made so far
