it sucks to feel let down when you’ve worked so hard, but it also sucks to tell yourself stories out of ignorance that perpetuate your own misery. no an llm is not “being trained on your writing style” bc it analyzed your writing for feedback. it’s not “learning” nor updating when it reads ur words

i wouldn’t mind the constant fundraising texts if I could text back. every rep could have a big screen in their office where they can see everyone’s replies. they could measure public sentiment directly, in real time, and attached to a verified number, but they’ll prob never be brave enough for that

i think, especially with the rise of llms, it's time we as a society began to draw a sharp line between monotonous rhymed couplets and poetry
