Really do feel like the problem was so many people going "sexism is bad, ergo, boobs are bad, because they're just absolutely sloshing and overfull of sexism" rather than catching on that the Real Sexism is in the way women are casually depersoned and shoved into narrow boxes in a lot of scripts

Wow this explains the Curse move in Pokemon! I'd always wondered why it had two very different effects depending on the type of pokemon using it but it turns out it's making the same pun! Ghost types using it apply a curse, but others creep carefully, moving slower so they can hit and evade better.
In the Mario Party series, an item's name was changed from "Cursed Dice Block" to "Creepy Dice Block". While it may appear to be an unnecessary change to make it more "family-friendly", it is actually an effective localization of the original Japanese name's double meaning.

Increasingly I feel like I favor furry because it espouses the idea that humans, for all our mastery over nature, are still animals. We need to nap and wander and frolic and utter strange noises.
