We are failing them.
Ten year old student who witnessed shooting: "I heard [shots] again. I just ran under the pew and then I covered my head. My friend Victor saved me though, because he laid on top of me. But he got hit... He's really brave, and I hope he's good in the hospital."

Now is not the time to argue about Newsom in 28.

He's doing what we need right now, and that's all I care about.

We can cross the 28 bridge when it gets here.

What CBS' disgraceful termination of Stephen Colbert illustrates is how quickly a Republic can fall when the media chooses cowardice instead of courage.

Right now, Republicans in Congress are trying to push through a bill that would put millions of Americans at risk of losing their health care.

They want to cut federal funding for Medicaid, take away tax credits that help more people afford coverage, and raise costs for working class families.

I'm old enough to remember when polio ripped through the globe and put my friends into iron lungs.

We dutifully lined up at school to get vaccinated. We eradicated the disease. We protected the common good and saved lives.

I beg you all to look up the Degenerate Art Exhibition of 1937. Funny-mustache-man (yes him) wanted to dictate what was art and what was not.

Kind of exactly what Trump said tonight when he fired the Kennedy Center board, because they "do not share our vision for a Golden Age in Arts and Culture."
