Especially the ones calling MTG a hero while shitting all over RBG's legacy because she had the temerity to...die at an inconvenient time?

The credulity of people who are looking for saviors, heroes, and knights in shining armor will doom us all.

Rejected the only invitation to a Thanksgiving dinner I received this year.

I attended the host's birthday dinner a few years ago. That experience was pure hell, and I don't want a repeat.

I will be alone, and that's fine. Alone is preferable to spending hours in the company of tipsy racists.

This fallacy is only applied to Democrats. Never other progressives and never ever the GOP. Those two groups can be as imperfect or say any shit they want, and it's not a problem. It will not be discussed; it will not be examined.

And this fallacy is being used to tank elections.

With the revelation of Sen. Gallegos' private thoughts about his own party and support in the upper echelons of the party for a man who once worked for Erik Prince's Blackwater and has Nazi tattoos, I have one question:

Is the Democratic Party actively trying to push away its most loyal voters?

Hollup... That fool was texting with a Republican and didn't expect that Republican to leak this convo? And he thinks he's leadership material?

GTFOH!!!

When will non-whites come to grips that there's no safety in white proximity. There's no such thing in a white supremacist society.

If I hear " Kamala Harris did not win a single primary", "There should have been an open primary" or statements to that effect again, I swear to Carl Sagan...

It confused me. I remember the flood of "Je suis Paris" posts after the Paris terror attacks. But after Israel was attacked, there was no sympathy, and in fact blame.

Pro-pal Jew hatred was so evident in their ferocious DENIAL of the barbarism of Hamas’s October 7 attack on festival goers, the sexual atrocities, burning families in their homes.

They tore down posters.

They hid the truth.

Their movement was based on LIES. It should not have won so much support.

Most of us know that there's a double standard in American politics and political media that disadvantages Democrats.

But how many know of the double standard within the ostensibly equality-focused Democratic Party that actually disadvantages its women and non-white (especially Black) members?

Trump's tariffs, again.

(I'm trying to purchase discontinued watercolor pigments from a shop based in Italy.)

Damn that man and everyone who voted for him.

When I'm wearing my cans (headphones), I expect you'll respect my wish to not be bothered.

This is something my coworkers can't seem to understand. You don't want to experience what I'm like when I'm irritable, which I will be if you start talking to me when my headphones are on.

Getting whiplash from posts calling people who read Harris' memoirs "freaks" to ones mourning what could have been had she won.

The Discover feed is the Wild West.

(I don't care what you think about Harris - gatekeeping which books we should read is asshole behavior.)

maybe if people don't want Jewish people to consider emigrating to Israel, they should try not making Jewish people feel unsafe in the US by protesting outside their synagogues

and if you're gonna protest at a religious institution, start with the churches exporting homophobia to the global south

Just seen on Bluesky:

"Kamala Harris never won a single delegate"

Oh? Then how did she get the overwhelming majority of delegates to pledge to her, then?

(She reached out to all of them.)

I should also note that if 250,000 more people in PA/MI/WI had filled in a little bubble on a ballot, she would be President right now and everyone would be talking about how brilliantly she pulled off running an entire successful Presidential campaign in just 107 days, an absolutely Herculean task.

What last year's election has taught me is that the same people who will smile as they deliver you housewarming cookies or hold doors open for you won't be thinking of you when they vote to strip you of your rights and freedoms.

Beware those voters who think only of their selfish desire to punish.

Posts from Resistance™ accounts contain as many if not more emojis than those from MLM hunbots, making them just as difficult to read.

And about as useful.

TWICE female candidates for President who was experienced, qualified with ethics & values. TWICE we passed the women up for a narcissist with a record of inept mismanagement. Look at the record of how many female heads of state who have done an exceptionally good job.

The amount of attention that a certain individual has been receiving these past few months has been suffocating, to say the least.

Not naming anyone.

My feed is more peaceful now that I've muted their name.
