Finally finished THE GIRL WHO DRANK THE MOON by Kelly Barnhill. Gorgeous MG fantasy that made me laugh, weep, and read bits out loud bc the prose is so good.

Books that are FOR teenagers and books that are ABOUT teenagers are separate things. (I would argue neither one should be a kids book?) It's Publishers Choice and that makes it chaos.

Some days it's next to impossible to weed out books, and some days (like today) I am VISCOUS. I have two giant piles and am not yet done!

(I am losing a bookshelf with my planned living room shuffle and am trying VERY HARD to not replace it. The room is Too Full already!)

Today was my last Friday of work and I had ZERO meetings, which is nuts. It has been a year since I've had a day with zero meetings. I think this means folks are already working around me, with my departure imminent ( tho I will be PT for 6 more weeks). Just a weird day all around. Good!! But weird.
