It is.

The USAF’s callsigns for rescue aircraft are “King” (C130) and “Jolly” (HH60). When they get launched on missions in the state they switch to “Air Force Rescue”. This callsign gives them priority in any airspace.

Just so we're keeping score. A State (Texas) sent its National Guard troops, with weapons, to another state (Illinois) uninvited.

I'm just a dumb old Aerial Gunner, but I did grow up just South of Gettysburg, and that seems like a really dangerous precedent to set.
