It’s so frustrating that the worst sites are all free and indoctrinating people, but the quality news is behind paywalls.
I understand WHY, but it means we continue living in an age where bad info is free.
So… to “get around” paywalls, get a library card & sign up for all their free news apps.

complaining about paywalls when so many journalists are being laid off and there are fewer market incentives to do great reporting and in-depth investigations, data analysis and features is also wild when everyone understands you need to pay for electronics, streaming services, and utilities

SCOTUS' LGBTQ books decision destabilized secular, public education by effectively giving religious parents a veto over curricula they dislike.
I agree with @mtsw.bsky.social that this case could further harm public schools by making them unsafe for many children. The goal here is pretty clear.
