I mean, he did invite RFK Jr on The Daily Show decades ago and IIRC they did talk about vaccines.

And then there was the Larry Wilmore show where he had a debate on vaccines which had a antivax activist and just some comedians to represent the pro vax side.

Not something I'm going ever to let go.

I entirely agree. I just find it funny how much different arms of the party get mixed around and people pay little attention to specifics of who does what.

Also, I saw someone note that the TX Senate campaign was laser-focused on affordability and given the angina some folks have had about that...

Isn't this also more something to be discussed as purview of the DLCC?

(Unless the lesson here is national orgs should give more to the DLCC, which I would agree with)

I remember when Pierce Hawthorne's father being racist against Swedes in Community was a joke about how extremely esoteric his racism was.

I want to hope, but I feel like journalist solidarity only seems to go as far as excusing Nuzzi's sex life.

I was chatting with my parents yesterday (who lived through Vietnam) and literally said "guess we've got our generation's Kent State, huh?"

My mom agreed, especially with how folks have responded.

My statement was more that I see complaints about the economy trying to media industry troubles (which, fuck them) and the complaints of upper middle class issues taking precedence over reporting the massive improvements in income for the folks who needed it, as well as a decrease in inequality.
