6:12 pm, our low-end severe threat overnight is currently in Arkansas. It has necessitated a few warnings out there, as we expected. Storm fuel will decrease as it approaches I-65, so SVR and TOR chances are low, but not yet zero. We're saddled watching every radar scan.

Thousands of people in Memphis & TN9 are going to be impacted—from federal employees and servicemembers to contractors & middle-class families who keep our city running.

If they aren't getting paid because of the GOP shutdown, neither will I.
