I truly believe the internet, and algorithm-driven social media in particular, is the most globally destructive invention in human history. Nukes are tightly controlled. Anyone can start a hate mob online by rage baiting.

Hot take: We unleashed the internet on a world that was never really taught critical thinking, emotional intelligence, or basic empathy, then never bothered trying to when the problems first started three decades ago. Since then it's only gotten worse and we are doing even less about it.

I saw some shows in the 90s when I lived in Phoenix, but spent 12 years in nowhere after, so have only been able to see shows again since moving to Vegas. When I can afford to. Last show I saw was Hanabie about a year ago.

There's lots of reason they aren't going this wild in LA or Chicago. And Portland just trolls them in costumes. The twin cities are the Goldilocks for them: small enough to contain, white enough to think they can pull it off. And yet, they're still fucking it up.
