Don’t ever let people forget this.
And one of the first survivors to step forward to try to stop Epstein? A trans woman, who was promptly mocked and villified by the New York Post, New York Magazine, the courts and law enforcement.

I've said No Country For Old Men is my favorite film for a few years now. But honestly I think it's gotta be V For Vendetta.

You know why.

now i’m thinking, how much of one’s view about “opsec” can be predicted by “have you been in the closet in the sense of knowing you were queer and hiding it from people and/or do you know people well who have been”

Hey, you!

Remember to do stuff just for the joy of doing it.

You don't need to transform everything in content for the social media (unless this makes you happy).

Enjoy that hobby yourself, no need to think about monetizing it.

The reward should be your inner joy/peace first.

Always.

Hey pals do you have recs for horror written by Black women and non-binary people? Recently read The Reformatory and have Model Home on the way so those two are covered! (I also really loved Jamison Shea’s I Feed Her to the Beast duology!

Not to get political, but America is very pretty and has a lot of nice folks making cool things, and I think if we had a president who wasn’t actively trying to murder us, we could have a pretty good time

It always feels like all the wrong people die, but I think it’s because there are far more beloved people than there are bastards.

Think The Shining meets The Thing meets Dark Souls 3.
A Fort in Winter - Fantasy/Horror. Book 2 of The Chained God. Why did the villagers sent to request rescue from a nearby fort never return? What Horror could fester in an old military fort in the mountains, snowed in for winter? And what can the Lance do about any of it?

I'd do this but we all know 90% of my answers would be FFX
All the cool moots are doing this so here's me chasing a trend

Hey @linkara.bsky.social, can you spread the message of a friend who needs help right now?
I've started a ko-fi goal to help fund the basics if anyone is able to help. Obviously, nobody really likes begging, but I have work yet to do and am being responsible by not adding to it for now.

The thing they don't tell you about networking is--it's just you, finding your people.

It doesn't have to be some cynical business mission. It can be, "Hey these people see me, and I want to spend more time around them."

Networking is just an element of community.

A protest song about *checks notes* Adolf Hitler recorded eight years ago that Youtube randomly is recommending to people this week for no reason whatsoever 👀

The most important class I took in college was Eng104, research, sourcing, and crediting. And it's not even close.

I think learning how to identify whether sources are factual, where those facts come from, what the biases are, and pass that knowledge on...

Just experienced a good laugh reading reviews of one of my books on Goodreads.

I swear to god, only about 10% of the population is able to discern the difference between research-based work and personal opinion.

I would love for schools to teach critical thinking.........
