This excellent tracker from @chrischirp.bsky.social is very comprehensive www.trumpactiontracker.info It's a live, searchable list of authoritarian‑style actions from Trump’s second term.

Such is the consequence of pandering to billionaire and trillionaire donors 🤷🏻‍♀️
INGRAHAM: “Does that mean the H-1B visa thing will not be a big priorit?”

TRUMP: “You have to bring in talent.”

INGRAHAM: “We have plenty of talent.”

TRUMP: “No, you don’t.”

Wow. Wait til MAGA sees this one. 😕

An absurd media narrative in runup to the election said Dems must choose between being "anti-Trump" and running on substance.

The lesson from this election is that anti-Trump politics *is* affordability politics, and affordability politics *is* anti-Trump politics:

Essential 🧵 regarding claims that the BBC selectively edited Trump's January 6 speech in a 2024 documentary so that he appeared to explicitly encourage the US Capitol attack.
I hear there’s an argument going on in the UK right now about whether or not Donald Trump incited the crowds to violence around January 6th. Apparently the BBC in a documentary showed edits of his speech that misrepresented what he said.

So let’s be absolutely clear here - the BBC said he incited violence at January 6th. If you read his speech, that is true. If you read coverage of his response to the attack, that is true. If you read the Congressional report on January 6th, they recommend criminal charges for it.

So can I suggest to anyone who is reading from the UK at the moment and is unsure about what to believe - just read the damn speech. It’s not in any way unclear that he’s telling everyone’s their democracy is being stolen and they should fight against it. www.npr.org/2021/02/10/9...

Musk is a lying, despicable, racist asshole.
Elon Musk, "These lovely small towns in England, Scotland and Ireland, they've been living their lives quietly. They're like hobbits"

"And so one day, 1,000 people show up in your village of 500 and start raping the kids"

"This has now happened, God knows how many times in Britain"

For a cavernous building that would be used only a few times a year. At least the royal palaces that have ballrooms were actualy built in a time when they held many balls. This is just a testament to bad taste and ostentatious waste.
The National Trust for Historic Preservation warned that President Trump’s planned 90,000-square-foot ballroom would “overwhelm the White House itself,” which spans just 55,000 square feet. https://wapo.st/4hmL8rC

it's dizzying to me that stories like this -- a corrupt grift built on democracy-wrecking lies that culminated in a coup attempt -- barely breakthrough anymore. they're just daily background noise now.
COLLINS: The NYT is reporting your legal team is seeking $230 million from your own DOJ now in response to the investigations into you. Is that something you want?

TRUMP: It could be, yeah. I don't even talk to them about it. All I know is they would owe me a lot of money. They rigged the election.

For many, this will be a day evoking feelings of both deep sadness *and* anger. It was an avoidable tragedy, as the subsequent inquiry determined; blame rested entirely with the NCB (which refused to accept liability [publicly] for some time).
